Gone from the scene for many years, the Gold Medal Directors Chair has returned. It was the industry standard
throughout the heyday of Hollywood and now we can enjoy it again.
There are three styles of Gold Medal Chair. All made in the USA with the finest hardwood.
Classic: Just what it's name implies.
The "go-to" chair that was used
on every Hollywood set since the early days of film making. It's well
made and beautifully designed. Rounded/sculpured legs/feet and curved wrist rest. No other chair duplicates
this look.
Contemporary: The same as the Classic with straight legs and flat arm rests.
Commercial: Built stronger to last longer under extreme use conditions eg. Trade shows etc. Seat rails are slightly larger and joints are reinforced, curved wrist rests and self-leveling feet. Looks similar to the Contemporary.
They can be be embroidered with names or logos.
There are four wood choices: varnish (clear over natural wood), walnut (stained),
black (painted) or white (painted).
There are eleven canvas color choices: black, royal blue, red, burgundy, navy
blue, hunter green, white, sailor blue, and khaki (tan).
All chairs have the following dimensions:
Width: 21.5"
Depth: 15.5"
